Self Drive T&Cs
On average, our driving breaks are generally 6 nights and 5 days in duration and can be booked to start on any day of your choice (subject to availability).

Tour Prices Include
Prices are in BRITISH POUNDS per break and are per person – assuming 2 persons share the car and a room. Our price includes:
- Overnight accommodation including breakfasts
- Hotel city taxes cannot always be pre-paid, therefore on some occasions you will be required to pay for these on check out, these are normally around 1-2%
- A touring pack, which includes a digital roadbook describing all the drives and stops, with embedded Google map links used to navigate, as well as other information about the destinations you will visit
- On-call support whilst you are on the road touring
What is Not Included?
Flights, transfers (only where applicable), travel and medical insurance, fuel for the car, parking charges at the hotels, local city taxes, lunch & evening meals, and coffee breaks.
All reservations must be made through the confirmation e-mail sent to you, which provides you with a link to these detailed booking terms, and these terms shall constitute the basis of the contract between you (the Traveller) and us (Slap Adventures Limited). The contract shall exist when the payment is made.
Self Drive Tours.
This agreement is made between Slap Adventures GmbH and the Traveler on the basis that the self drive tour as specified in the Confirmation Email is to be taken by the traveler and guests for a period as defined in the email. The price of the self drive tour is as specified in the Confirmation Email, and the agreed payment as specified in the Email should accompany all bookings. Where a part deposit is agreed upon, the balance of the self drive tour price must be paid at least 8 weeks before the beginning of the self drive tour. If the balance of the self drive tour is not received within this period, then the deposit may be forfeited and the self drive tour cancelled at the sole discretion of Slap Adventures Limited. If bookings are made 8 weeks or less in advance of the self drive tour, the whole of the self drive tour Price must always be paid in advance at the date of booking.
Every effort is made to ensure that self drive tours comply with the description given to the Traveler at the time of booking. However, Slap Adventures Limited cannot accept any liability for any changes or inaccuracies that occur between the time of the booking and the commencement of the self drive tour. Slap Adventures reserves the right to make alterations to pre-agreed driving routes/itineraries in the unlikely event of either road closures or unseasonal weather conditions – due to the unpredictability of such events, these will be communicated to the customer no later than 24 hours before the date that the drive is due to commence.
The Traveller undertakes the self drive tour entirely at their own risk and Slap Adventures Limited cannot be responsible for any injuries caused to the Traveler, his/her guests or any third parties. In addition, Slap Adventures Limited will not be liable to compensate the Traveler for any damage or loss of enjoyment in respect of the Traveler’s self drive tour if the failure in the enjoyment was the Traveler’s fault or could have been reasonably foreseen. Slap Adventures Limited’s liability in any event for any damage or loss (including both direct and indirect loss of enjoyment) will not, in any event, be greater than the self drive tour Price.
Payment Terms and Cancellation
Individuals – on acceptance of the booking, a non-refundable 30% deposit will be payable to secure the booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of the trip.
In the event that you wish to change the date of travel (change due to unplanned circumstances), this is normally possible up to 2 weeks before the date of the trip. However, if there are additional costs arising (for example hotels are more expensive on the new dates), these will be highlighted and charged separately. In the event you need to cancel entirely and will not re-plan the trip, a refund will be due, in accordance with the cancelation terms set out below.
In case of changes or cancellations, you must notify us in writing (email is acceptable) and the following cancellation charges will apply:

Groups (6 persons / 3 cars and greater) – on acceptance of the booking, a 30% non-refundable deposit shall be made, with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of the trip. Where there is a full cancellation of the event, then the cancellation terms set out above will apply. However, for partial cancellation, then the following general rules will apply:
If 1 traveller cancels, but the same number of cars are kept, then the total cost of the event will be unaffected (hotel rooms and cars are still as before). This means that the final total group balance due will not change. Where persons are paying individually, the cost of that seat cancelled will spread across the remaining individuals. Where 2 travellers + 1 car are cancelled, then the total cost of the event and therefore remaining balance to be paid will decrease. However, the final balance due will be dependent on the car that gets cancelled (for example a more expensive or less expensive car) and this will be calculated on a case-by-case basis. In general though, in both scenarios the deposit will be lost, it is just the remaining open balance that we are adjusting.
In the unlikely event of a complaint about the property, this should be reported to Slap Adventures Limited within three days of arrival and confirmed in writing in a letter posted to Slap Adventures Limited within one week of arrival. Failure to do this will result in Slap Adventures Limited being unable to deal with the complaint. Complaints cannot be accepted after a Traveller has returned home and there has been no opportunity to put matters right during the self drive tour.
This agreement (together with the documents referred to herein):
- constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter of this agreement; and
- supersedes and extinguishes any prior drafts, agreements, and undertakings between the parties relating to the such subject matter.
Rights of Third Parties
A person who is not a party to this agreement has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce, or to enjoy the benefit of, any provision of this agreement.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
As part of Slap Adventures Limited’s acceptance of the booking, the Traveller warrants to Slap Adventures Limited that all information provided to Slap Adventures Limited is correct and that the Traveller is aged 18 years or over.
