Highland Fling, Oct 2020 – REVIEW
Yet again our Highland Fling Driving Adventure, with 23 cars, was an enjoyable one, despite Mother Nature’s finest efforts bringing a lot of rain to Scotland during our visit.
Yes the weather was to be expected in October but with having to postpone our usual event from May due to Covid October was the card that was dealt… and in fairness everyone was just happy to be away from real life for a few days. Despite the rain we had a great time driving some of Scotland’s best roads – the sun even shone hits face for a day, giving the opportunity for fish and chips by the seaside on day 3 of the adventure.
A great group of people brought everything from a to a BMW E36 M3, Mercedes A45 AMG, BMW M240i and through Nissan GTRs, Mclaren 600LTs, the usual Porsche Boxsters, Caymans and 911s that always deliver, to a spanking new Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and an Ariel Nomad (yep, they really did!).
A MASSIVE thank you goes out from us to everyone who came on the event given the C-19 restrictions that were in place. If you like the look of this trip we’re doing it again in May 2021.
