Highland Fling, April 2024 – REVIEW

Now a staple in our driving calendar our Highland Fling Road Trip to Scotland was a sell-out once again, with 30 cars taking part in this Driving Tour.

At times the weather was what can only be described as ‘Scottish’ but that did not stop the fun, and once the rain cleared we basked in glorious sunshine and dry roads for nearly 3 days… allowing the eclectic mix of cars (and their owners), that spent 4 days driving some of the best roads Scotland has to offer, to really enjoy themselves.  The scenery never fails to disappoint and the roads remind you as to why you like driving so much.  It’s getting harder and harder to find places to drive that aren’t clogged with traffic and despite Scotland’s popularity for a holiday you’re still able to drive without too many hold ups, if you know where to go.  Luckily for you we do.

A great group of people brought a superb range of vehicles from a ‘slightly’ tuned Nissan GTR R34, a couple of Mazda MX5s, Hyundai N30i, Mini GP2, Yaris GRs, an Ariel Nomad (yep, you read that correctly), BMW M2 and M3, through a glut of Porsches – Boxster, Cayman and 911s – to an Audi R8, Aston Vantage, Mclaren 600LT and Ferrari 458.  There really was something for everyone.

A MASSIVE thank you goes out from us to everyone who came on the event.   If you like the look of this trip we’re doing it again in October 2024 AND in May 2025.
