Highland Fling, May 2026 – REVIEW
Our Highland Fling Road Trip to Scotland was a sell-out once again, with 28 cars taking part in this Scottish Driving Tour in 2026.
This year we saw a mixed bag of weather, which added to the driving experience – Scotland is a beautiful place in the sunshine and was there to be enjoyed for most of the adventure… but the oh-so-popular rain that Scotland brings also came to visit from time to time, making those twisty roads a little more challenging here and there.
The scenery, as always, was jaw-dropping, and the roads served as a powerful reminder of why we love driving in the first place. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find routes that aren’t choked with traffic, but despite Scotland’s growing popularity as a holiday destination, it’s still possible to enjoy uninterrupted drives — if you know where to go.
And lucky for you… we do.
Once again this was another eclectic mix of cars and people on tour — and it made for an unforgettable few days on the road.
Couples, lads and dads, friends and solo drivers – we pretty much had all boxes ticked on this trip. And then the cars… well they ranged from a lovely Audi A4 and S4, Mini Cooper S, a couple of Yaris GRs (including Dom’s that has now been retired from duties, watch this space to see what will replace it), 2 x Audi R8, 2 x Maseratis, a couple of bonkers Chevrolet Corvettes, Mercedes C43, Nissan GTR, BMW M3 V8, a couple of delicious Astons, and then a glut of Porsches covering Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne and 911 (including a lovely 997 CSR).
Whatever your taste, this group had it covered — and then some.
A MASSIVE thank you goes out from us to everyone who came on the event. If you like the look of this trip we’re doing it again in May 2027.
