You can join us as we leave from Folkestone on Sunday morning and arrive in France around midday, then it’s all about settling in and munching through the miles as we head through France and just across the German border for our first hotel. It’s 4* and an evening ‘welcome meal’ is included.
Or you can make your own way down through to Germany at your leisure, meeting us at the hotel in the evening.
We leave travel to and from mainland Europe to you on this trip to suit your needs. When booking and paying your deposit we let you know the times of travel we are taking on the Eurotunnel, should you wish to book the same crossings.
After breakfast we fire up the cars, skirting along the edge of the Black Forest, heading to your first set of mountains of the trip. It’s a trio of passes in the Tyrol so have your cameras ready.
Tonight it’s a 4* spa hotel in Austria, with some unique swimming pools to enjoy before dinner that is included at the hotel.
The action starts right away today and within the first hour you’ll be high up – nearly 2,500m to be exact. Then we head in to Italy, across and through the Dolomites on our carefully curated route finishes in a beautiful Austrian town, with a 5* hotel awaiting us, with dinner included.
It’s a highlight road to kick things off today – the Grossglockner – where’s you’ll get to spend time driving, exploring and generally enjoying this amazing mountain road. We then head via another excellent pass, to the highlight hotel of the trip…
By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at the spectacular ‘5-star Superior’ Interalpen Hotel, where you drive your car in to reception, and featuring a spacious 5,300 square meters of wellness facilities. Dinner is included this evening.
Today we take some lesser known roads – IYKYK as they say – we’ve run this trip for several years now so trust us in that these roads are fun.
You’ll finish the day at a 4* hotel with a spectacular backdrop – dinner is included this evening.
Your final day behind the wheel winds through the Black Forest, where long curves and dense woodland roads deliver a poetic last leg of the journey.
We end in the historic spa town of Baden-Baden, where your final 5-star hotel and a farewell dinner at one of the town’s most celebrated restaurants bring the experience to a memorable close.
It’s time to say your goodbyes and head home after an epic week of roads, laughs, new friendships and awesome experiences.

A deposit of £450 per person is required when booking to secure your place, with the balance due by 3 months before departure. **
Pre-booked, fixed-time return Eurotunnel is included in the price. Dates and times cannot be changed, if you wish to travel on a different date / time you must arrange alternate travel at your own cost. Outbound tunnel from Folkstone 10:20hrs on Sunday, Inbound tunnel from Calais 17:50hrs on Saturday. The final night accommodation is in Baden Baden, Germany. At the discretion of Eurotunnel (and subject to availability) you may be able to take an alternate tunnel up to 1 hour before or after your pre-booked time. This cannot be booked in advance, you need to arrive at the tunnel and only then will you see if this is available.
Slap Adventures is an Driving Tour where like minded couples and friends drive their cars through beautiful scenery, on some of the best driving roads. With ages from “you’re old enough to have a license?” to “you’ve still got a license?” we attract people from all walks of life. Our events are typically made up of 40-50% couples, then a mix of friends, and solo drivers.
At the event registration we give you a commercially printed tour booklet (as part of your welcome pack) with a suggested route for each day – there is a map, QR codes to scan that link to Google Maps (broken down in to 3-4 sections for each day) along with pre-programmed satnavs.
There is a lead car you can follow or you are free to take the day at your own pace, and take a different route should you choose.
Catch up every evening in quality hotels to eat, drink and tell tales of your adventures – each day will be a different driving and social experience. Our events are very relaxed (no black tie / evening gowns required) with 1 – 2 evenings of ‘smart casual’ required, otherwise it’s wear what you are comfortable in.
Whilst we generally attract performance cars and supercars on our driving tours all makes, types and age of vehicles are welcome on our road trips.

* Cost is based on 2 people per car, sharing a twin or double room. Single person supplement applies for solo travellers. ** This trip is subject to a minimum of 10 cars booking. Your deposit payment will be put into a holding account and should the minimum number of vehicles not be reached you will either be offered a transfer to an alternative trip or your deposit back in full.
