Mother nature was shining down on us, literally, for our first Drive Day of 2018.Just 7 day earlier North Wales was covered in a blanket of snow, not ideal conditions for a group of performance BMWs to head out for a spirited drive round some of the best roads in North Wales. Thankfully we had wall to wall sunshine for our event.Meeting early on the Sunday morning at BMW specialists RSV Automotive tea and coffee got the day going. Everyone was given their route map for the day and we were off. Nearly 40 BMWs including M135i/M140i, M235i/M240i, M2, M3, M4, M5, X1 & Z4 – a little bit of something for everyone.Our carefully planned route took in some great roads and scenery; Bala Lake; Evo Triangle; Llanberis pass and a several more that we’ll keep to ourselves for now.We finished late afternoon in Oswestry, and after some liquid refreshment said our goodbyes, until the next time.Thanks go out to:• Everyone who attended, some travelling a long way for the event – you made it a great way to kick off the year.• Dave Rutter for the photos.
