410bhp, 4WD and a finely tuned chassis means this Ford Focus RS ‘development car’ from Litchfield Motors should be great fun to drive – and we’ll be finding out just how much fun when we take it to Scotland as the staff car on our Highland Fling driving adventure in May.
Litchfield’s stage two engine upgrade – made up of a remap, a bigger intercooler and uprated exhaust system – increases the engine output to 410bhp and 410lb ft, gains of 65bhp and 60lb ft over the standard car.The chassis has been upgraded working with renowned suspension experts KW. Litchfield have developed a damper package that works with the Focus RS’s switchable suspension modes – so Normal, Sport and Track suspension settings can all be switched as normal. The changes have made for a more powerful and agile RS – we’re looking forward to making it dance on some of the best roads in the Scottish Highlands. For a more in-depth review of the upgrades Litchfield Motors have made read the Autocar Review
